Terms of Service

These terms cover The Loop: the website at theloopidle.com, the web app at https://app.theloopidle.com, and the iOS and Android apps. Using any of them means you accept them.
What The Loop is
A cross-platform application for web, iOS and Android.
Accounts
An account is optional: the game is fully playable without one, and your progress is saved on your own device. An account lets a cloud save and your purchases follow you between devices. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in secure and for anything that happens under your account. You can delete your account at any time from Settings.
Using it fairly
Please do not try to break the service, interfere with other users, reverse engineer the apps, or use them for anything unlawful. We can suspend access that does these things. Ordinary use, on as many of your own devices as you like, is fine.
Purchases
The Loop sells optional one-time purchases: extra worlds, a starter bundle, and an upgrade that removes ads and raises the offline limit. There is no subscription and nothing renews. What you buy stays bought on the account or store account that bought it.
Where you bought it is where it lives. A purchase made in the iOS or Android app belongs to that store account, and Restore Purchases in Settings brings it back on a new device. A purchase made on the web belongs to your The Loop account, so the web needs you to be signed in. Buying on one does not automatically give you the item on the other unless the same The Loop account is signed in to both.
Refunds
Purchases made through the App Store or Play Store are refunded by Apple or Google under their own policies, not by us. Purchases made on the web through Stripe are handled by writing to support@theloopidle.com. If you are a consumer in the UK or the EEA you have the right to cancel within 14 days of purchase for a full refund; by buying you agree that access begins immediately, and where the content has already been used during that window we may reduce the refund proportionately, as the law allows. A refund removes the item it paid for.
Ads
The iOS and Android apps may show rewarded ads served through Google AdMob: you are offered something in the game in exchange for watching one, and no ad appears unless you tap to take that offer. Whether an ad can be requested at all is decided by Google's User Messaging Platform consent flow, which runs before any ad code is loaded. Ads are not shown on the website, and anyone who has bought the ad-free upgrade sees none in the apps.
No warranty, and what we are liable for
The Loop is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited, and none of it affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Termination
You can stop using The Loop at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are seriously or repeatedly broken.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where 2Buns LLC operates.
